Mehr als 130.000 Besucher wurden insgesamt im Kanzler-, Bundespresseamt und den 14 Bundesministerien gez\u00e4hlt. Auch der Deutsche Imkerbund hatte eine Einladung erhalten, sich mit einem Informationsstand im \u201eGr\u00fcnen Garten\u201c des Bundespresseamtes an der Veranstaltung zu beteiligen. \u00dcbernommen wurde diese Aufgabe von Vertretern des Imkerverbandes Berlin e.V. mit Unterst\u00fctzung des Fachbereiches Veterin\u00e4r-Biochemie der Freien Universit\u00e4t Berlin, die an beiden Tagen die Imkerei im Innenhof der Beh\u00f6rde repr\u00e4sentierten und sachkundig alle Fragen der rund 10.000 Besucher beantworteten. Das Angebot umfasste Informationsbrosch\u00fcren, eine Honigverkostung sowie ein Schauvolk, das immer ein besonderer Anziehungspunkt ist.<\/p>\n<p>Bei gutem Wetter kamen Besucher und auch Imker, sogar aus weit entfernten Bundesl\u00e4ndern, z. B. dem Saarland. \u201eDie Probleme der Honigbienen, Wildbienen, Hummeln und anderer Hautfl\u00fcgler haben wieder einmal das Interesse der \u00d6ffentlichkeit geweckt und die Menschen sensibilisiert,\u201c sagte die Schriftf\u00fchrerin des Landesverbandes, Birgit Otto, die ebenfalls Standbetreuerin war. \u201eWie schon auf der Internationalen Gr\u00fcnen Woche 2018 informierten sich wieder viele Menschen gerade im Hinblick auf insektenfreundliche Bepflanzungen von Balkonen, G\u00e4rten und Wiesen bei uns. Die Entwicklung von Krankheiten durch die Varroamilbe, der Amerikanischen Faulbrut, sowie die Auswirkungen durch die in der Landwirtschaft eingesetzten Pflanzenschutzmittel waren weitere Schwerpunktthemen.
